[April 22th, 2020]

[*EDIT: April 25, 2020.  4:30pm]

Dear Friends,

I hope this message find you safe and sane at home.  This has been very difficult, but on behalf of both my Aeropost and immediate families, I'd like to thank you for doing your part to keep us all safe.  We also know that many of you have had packages in our office for some time now and we sincerely regret this inconvenience.

Our Miami offices are open and receiving packages normally.  They are operating with a limited workforce so things might be a little slower than usual but we don't expect any major service disruptions there.

As of writing, our plans are as follows, but please be sure to keep checking back here for all the announcements as there will likely be some changes as we wait for government addresses.

April 27th to May 1 [7:30am to 12pm]

  • During this time we will be offering home delivery services.
  • During this time we will be offering curbside pickup.  We will only be serving customers in their cars and will have staff marshaling to mitigate confusion.  However, if you get out of your vehicle, we will not serve you.  This is for everyone's safety.

  • Starting Monday April 27th, Miami will resume manifesting packages via Air.  Please be advised that due to the multitude of logistics issues we are facing, transit times are expected to be 2-3 days via Air for the first few weeks after curfew.
  • We have a backlog of packages and so initial delivery of packages will be slower than usual and will take several days to clear.

Closed on Weekends until May 31

In order to streamline operations and to limit expenses to match lower volume levels, we will be closed on the weekends until May 31st or until conditions return favorable.

After May 1st

Sadly, we can't tell the future so, one week at a time yes?  :-)

Returns

We expect to resume accepting on May 4th

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to getting back to some kind of normal with you as soon as possible!

Best,

Colin Rathbun, CEO
